story behind it:
we had some time free in the studio and we didn't really have anything to record and so i just started banging out what basically ended up being this song. i wrote the lyrics later... i wrote the lyrics so many times to try and figure it out and it actually shed a lot of light on my life from writing it. it was really interesting.
